Itinerary
Day
1 Arrival at Yangon airport.
Transfer to the Hotel. Visit to Chaukhtatgyi pagoda,
the huge Gigantic reclining Buddha Image,
and stroll up near Karaweik Royal floating barge.
By the sun down visit Shwedagon pagoda.
Dinner and overnight in Yangon.
Day
2 From Yangon to Bago
Morning,
depart for Bago with the stop at Shwenyaungbin
Spirit house, and Htaukkyant War Cemetery.
Proceed
to Hleku and watch the populace at the local
market. Continue to Kyaikpon 4-seated
huge Buddha
Images,
and visit Shwethahlaung Reclining Buddha Image,
and Kahlani sima of the prototype of ordination
hall.
Then Visit study the life of the Buddhist monks at Kyachutwaing
Monastery where a large numbers of monks in
different age and levels are studying Buddhism. Sunset
from Hinthagone Pagoda, and overnight in
Bago.
Day
3 From Bago to Taungoo
Watch
the Buddhist monks going for alms round in the morning. Proceed to
Moeinkyi Bird Centuary to watch the
flocks of water ducks. Then visit Taungoo in and around . Overnight
in Taungoo.
Day
4 Adventure in the Forest.
Early
morning drive into in the forest to see the live
elephants and Teak production. Learn
the life of man's best
forklift,
the Elephants, their refresher training camp, and watch the working
Elephants. Overnight in Taungoo.
Day
5 From Taungoo to Kalaw.
Morning overland drive to Kalaw. but stop at Yinmarbin village to
watch the country life of the
people Continue to Kalaw for dinner and overnight.
Day
6 Trekking around Pindaya
Drive to Pindaya and start trekking to Htut-ni
and Sakya-in (Danu tribals) village, and
continue to Yazakyi village
(Palaung village) to explore the Ethnic minorities. Then proceed
to village where Taungyoe, and Danu tribals
live.
Continue to Danu village and return to
the Pindaya.
Day
7 Drive Pindaya to Inle Lake
Visit Pindaya cave in which thousand of Buddha Images are adorned
at every corner of the niche. Visit available 5
days market (Pwehla or Aungban or Heho) to watch the minorities and
visit Pao village to learn the country life.
Dinner and overnight in Hotel on the Lake.
Day
8 Explore in Inle Lake
Explore
in and around the lake by small boat. Learn the life of fishermen,
and floating gardens on which fruits,
flowers,
and vegetables are grown. Visit Nampan market
or Ywama floating market or another one
(depend on
five
days' movement) to watch the colorful minorities of Shan State. Phaungdawoo
Pagoda is right in the center of
the
lake and famous for it's five shapeless Buddha Images heavily
gilded with gold. Then continue to floating village to
learn
the daily life of Intha people. Visit
Silversmith, hand-loom weaving in village,
Ngahpechaung
Monastery
is one of the famous for its' well trained jumping
cats. Dinner and overnight in Inle.
Day
9 Trekking from Nanpan village to
Mine Khut, and Panpyin
village where the PaO tribal lives.
Again continue to Tak
Gyi, and Donthkhut
village to view the Danu tribal people.
There are not very many houses but very remote.
Proceed to Htine village located on the
peak of the mountain from where view the panorama of Lake Inle. Htine
is the
village which is the mid way to Katku.
Return to Hotel for dinner and overnight in Inle.

10
Visit to Mandalay
Overland drive to Mandalay.
Sometime enjoy the unpredictable celebration such as noviciation ceremony,
weeding ceremony held at the village en
route. Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day
11The
heart tour in Mandalay includes; Shwenandaw Monastery,
the only remaining apartment of Mandalay Palace
noted for its intricate woodcarving, Kuthodaw Pagoda,
known as the world largest Book. Visit the cottage industry
such as Gold leaf beating, and Tapestry embroidering. Proceed to Mahagandayon
Monastery known as the biggest
Buddhist learning center in Mandalay to learn the daily life of monks.
Walk over U Bein Bridge of a mile wooden
bridge over 140 years old, and view the silk-weaving
home industry, and stone carving
for the people of art
and craft lovers. Stop at Mahamuni Pagoda,
the most important Buddha Image in Mandalay and Overnight in
Mandalay.
Day 12
Continue sightseeing in Mingon, Ava and Sagaing.
Visit to Kywezon Jetty to take the ferry’ boat to Mingon
along Irrawaddy River. Visit to Mingon Bell
the world
largest ringing bell, Mingon Pagoda, the
world biggest unfinished pagoda, Myatheintan Pagoda
of strange
looking Pagoda.
Continue to Ava, the previous Palace before
Mandalay. Then continue to Sagaing, the
famous Center of Religious
Retreat, and to learn the life of Nuns. Ywahtaung
village is noted for the silverware cottage industry. Overnight
at Mandalay.
Day 13
Visit to Monywa
Transfer to Monywa. Transfer to hotel, and
start sight seeing to Thanbuddhe temple
famous for its pilaster work
and thousands of Buddha Images big one and small one, and the world
largest reclining Buddha image on the top of
the mountain. Again visit Bodhitahtaung Pagoda.
Dinner and overnight at Monywa.
Day 14
Continue visit Powintaung, to Pakkuku. (Morning) and visit Shwebataung
pagoda. Then visit Powin Mountain,
the mountain where the alchemist worked for the stone of life-metal.
Lunch in Monywa and take to Pkkuku.
Stop
at some villages and Phakhan Village, the
birth place of famous drunken Nat U Min Kyaw, and continue
to Pakkuku. Overnight in Pakkuku.
Day 15
Cross the Irrawaddy River by boat to Bagan Continue exploring the
Ancient Capital.(Bagan)
Drive to Nyaungoo local market to watch the populace of the up-country.
Visit Shwezegon pagoda, the prototype
of later Myanmar Stupa, and Gubyaukgyi temple
noted for its 13th century fresco. Ananda temple
is well
famous for its masterpiece architecture built in the form of perfect
Greek cross. Sulamani temple is well noted
for
the fine pilaster work while Dhamayangyi temple
is significant for the fine brickwork. Drive to hotel for check in.
Lunch at restaurant.
Visit to Taungphee village to learn the
white noodle (Burmese breakfast) making. Proceed to Tharaba
gate, and
the old palace excavation site. Shwegugyi temple
is the early type Myanmar single storied temple and nice
overhead looking from the terrace. Thutbyinnyu
temple is the tallest temple in Bagan, and Nathlaungkyaung
is
the only Hindu Vishnu temple in Bagan. Buphaya
is the oldest style pagoda in Bagan located on the bank of majestic
Ayeyawaddy River.

Day 16
Drive to Mt. Popa, and overnight in Bagan
(Morning) Depart for Mt. Popa, visit the
village on route. Drop at Nats (Spirit)
museum to see the life size of the Nats
statues. Climb up the mountain to view the environ of arid area. Dinner
and overnight in Bagan.
Day 17
Overland drives to Pyay, the famous Pyu
capital (3-9Century AD) before Bagan. Stop at Villages to learn the
daily
life of the people more closely. Visit the Local market to watch the
populace of the environ, and Innma Village is known
as one of the hand-loom weaving centers,
and also drop at Shwe Myat Hman Pagoda of
strange looking Buddha

and view the environs, and Saetutgyi Gygantic Seated
Buddha Image. Overnight in Pyay(Prome).
Day 18
Visit in and around Pyay and Continue to Yangon
Drive back to Yangon, and visit to Great Shwedagon
Pagoda, the most impressive stupa over 2500 years,
Bogyoke Market formely
called Scotch Market for shopping and National
Museum to learn Royal Regalias of
the last King of Myanmar which are made of real gold studded with
rubies, emeralds, diamonds, jades, and so on.
Overnight at Yangon.

Last minutes shopping and departure for airport. |
