Day
1 : Drive to Kyaikngton with visit
village en route. Overnight in Kyaington.
Day
2 : Tekking to Palaung
Village, half way on foot and continue to Ann
villages, and visit house to house and watch
their daily life.
Day
3 : Continue trekking to Ann
and Ahkhar tribal villages, also half way by car and half way
on foot.
Day
4 : Morning visit Local
market, and fly for heho, then drive to Kalaw.
Overnight in Kalaw.
Day
5 : Trekking to Palaung
Village, and afternoon continue to Pindaya,
visit Pindaya cave, and nearby village for
bamboo umbrella making.
Day
6 : Explore in and around Inle
Lake, including Phaungdawoo Pagoda, Floating
Garden, Silk weaving, and
Jumping
Cat Monastery.
Day
7 : Overland drive to
5 days market to watch the ethnic tribals, and continue to Mt.Popa,
then to Bagan. Overnight in
Bagan.
Day8
: Visit in and around Bagan Ancient
Capital (1044-1287), and nearby village also including visit to regional
lacquer-
ware cottage industry.
Day9
: Day trip to Sale, and afternoon
visit in Bagan pagodas and temples, and sunset from top of temple
Day10
: Drive
to Mandalay, stop at some villages to watch the collecting of Sky
beer from the Toddy-palm tree, and also
brow sugar making.
Day11
:
Visit Shwenantaw monastery, Gold-leaf making, wood
carving, stone carving, handloom silk weaving,
and Mahamuni Pagoda.
Overnight in Mandalay.
Day12
: Excursion to Mingon
up river Ayeyawaddy, visit Mingon Bell, Mingon
uncompleted Pagoda, and visit village.
Afternoon
visit in Sagaing includes; silverware
making, Buddhist Nunneray, and view the sunset
from
Sagaine
hill.
Day13
: Fly back to Yangon,
visit in Yangon, including Chaukhtutgyi Pagoda,
Downtown, and Shwedagon Pagoda by
sunset.
Overnight in Yangon.
Day14
:
Visit Downtown area again, National
Museum, then shopping at Bogyoke Market
formerly Scotch Market,
and
departure in the evening…. |
